said Chapter 443 of the Acts of 1968 shall be and the
same are hereby ratified and confirmed as having been
done legally.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect June 1, 1975.

AN ACT concerning

State Administrative Meetings with Election Boards —
Board of Election Laws

FOR the purpose of attending the amount of money which is
payable as expense money to certain members of
election boards who attend certain meetings held by
the State Administrative Board of Election Laws, and
correcting language.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 1A-1 (f) of Article 33 - Election
Code, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement
Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed
and re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

1A-1.

(f) In each year preceding any year in which a
primary and general election is to be held in the State,
the State Administrative Board of Election Laws shall
conduct meetings of the members of the boards in the
