(b) The membership of the Commission shall be as
follows: The President of the Senate of Maryland; the
Speaker of the House of Delegates of Maryland; the
Secretary of State Planning for Maryland; the State
Senators representing Anne Arundel County or any portion
thereof; the mayor of the City of Annapolis; the county
executive of Anne Arundel County; the superintendent of
the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis; and [four]
FIVE persons to be appointed by the Governor of Maryland
[of which one] ONE OF WHICH he shall designate as
chairman of the Commission. In addition, the Governor of
Maryland [is authorized to] MAY designate from time to
time himself or the Lieutenant Governor of Maryland or
the Secretary of State of Maryland to serve as a member
of the Commission. The President of the Senate or the
Speaker of the House of Delegates may designate,
respectively, a member of the Senate or the House of
Delegates to represent them at meetings of the
Commission.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

AN ACT concerning
Fish and Fisheries - The Endangered Species
of Fish Conservation Act
FOR the purpose of Conserving endangered and threatened
species of fish by authorizing the Secretary of
Natural Resources to conduct investigations, adopt
rules and regulations, and establish conservation
programs; establishing an endangered and threatened
species list to prohibit the taking of threatened
and endangered species with certain exceptions;
enabling the Secretary to consult with other States,
Federal agencies, and other interested persons and
organizations; defining terms; providing penalties
for violation and conditions of search and seizure
