(M) MAIL.

"MAIL" MEANS TO DEPOSIT IN THE UNITED STATES MAILS
POSTAGE PREPAID.

(N) MARYLAND CORPORATION.

"MARYLAND CORPORATION" MEANS A CORPORATION ORGANIZED
AND EXISTING UNDER THE LAWS OF THE STATE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears as
Art. 23, §2(6). The defined term is changed
from "corporation of this State" to "Maryland
corporation" as this is the clear, more simple
style used throughout this article.

The only other changes are in style.

(O) MUNICIPAL AREA.

"MUNICIPAL AREA" MEANS ANY INCORPORATED OR
UNINCORPORATED CITY, TOWN, OR VILLAGE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
derived without substantive change from Art.
11, §§ 28, 39(a), and 53, which now appear in
Title 6 of this article, and is added here for
purposes of standardization and to avoid
unnecessary repetition.

(P) PERSON.

"PERSON" INCLUDES AN INDIVIDUAL, CORPORATION,
BUSINESS TRUST, ESTATE, TRUST, PARTNERSHIP, ASSOCIATION,
TWO OR MORE PERSONS HAVING A JOINT OR COMMON INTEREST, OR
ANY OTHER LEGAL OR COMMERCIAL ENTITY.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
setting forth a broad, standardized definition
of the word "person" as used in this article.
This definition is in no way intended to
change the existing law, merely to clarify it.

(Q) PRINCIPAL OFFICE.
