FOR the purpose of providing that certain aircraft
operated exclusively for rescue and observation
purposes shall be exempt from the requirement of
payment of the aircraft registration fee.

Section 6-601(a)(3)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1968 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

MARYLAND, That new Section 6-601 (a)(3) be and it is

hereby added to Article 1A — Aviation, of the Annotated

Code of Maryland (196 8 Replacement Volume and 1974
Supplement) to read as follows:

Article 1A — Aviation
6-601.

(A)(3) AIRCRAFT OWNED AND OPERATED FOR THE
BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY NON-PROFIT RESCUE SQUADS

EXCLUSIVELY FOR RESCUE AND OBSERVATION PURPOSES  SHALL BE

REGISTERED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS SUBSECTION,   BUT SHALL

BE EXEMPT FROM THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SECTION     REQUIRING
THE PAYMENT OF A REGISTRATION FEE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

FOR the purpose of granting exclusive original
jurisdiction to the District Court [[in certain
criminal cases involving false pretenses]] with
respect to misdemeanors, regardless of the amount of
money or value of the thing obtained [[; and
