AN ACT concerning

Taxes on Transfers of Corporate Property

FOR the purpose of imposing a recordation tax and a
property transfer tax when an instrument of writing
is filed with the State Department of Assessments
and Taxation pursuant to a sale, lease, exchange, or
other transfer or all or of substantially all the
property and assets of a corporation subject to
certain exceptions, requiring the filing of a
statement of value of any property to be
transferred; and fixing the rates of the taxes
imposed.
