AN ACT concerning

Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Act

FOR the purpose of enacting the Uniform Child Custody
Jurisdiction Act, and relating generally to child
custody jurisdiction.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Sections 3-1001 through 3-1024,
inclusive, to be under the new subtitle "Uniform Child
Custody Jurisdiction Act," be and they are hereby added
to Article — Courts and Judicial Proceedings of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1974
Supplement) to read as follows:
