AN ACT concerning

Board of Parole — Presence at Hearings

FOR the purpose of requiring the presence of a member of
the Parole Board at certain parole release hearings;
and requiring the presence of a Board member at all
parole revocation hearings.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,

Article 41 — Governor — Executive and Administrative

Departments
Section 110

Annotated Code of Maryland
(1971 Replacement Volume and 1971 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 110 of Article 41 - Governor -
Executive and Administrative Departments, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume and
1974 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and
re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Article 41 — Governor — Executive and Administrative

Departments

110.

(a) The Board shall have the exclusive power to
hear cases for parole release and revocation, and to
authorize the parole of persons sentenced under the laws
of this State to any penal or correctional institution,
jail or any other place of confinement or detention
therein. The Board also shall have the power to consider
