submission of plans for approval and record as he may
deem reasonable and proper. Before plans are drawn, or
application filed, for a prospective system of water
supply, sewerage or refuse disposal, a preliminary
statement concerning the improvement may be made to the
Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene whereupon if
requested, he shall outline the general requirements' of
the case conformity with which would meet with [the] his
approval. When application is made to the Secretary of
Health and Mental Hygiene for a permit under the
provisions of this section, it shall be the duty of the
Secretary of Health and Mental Hygiene to examine the
application without delay, and, as soon as possible after
submission of the application, to issue the permit,
disapprove the application, or state the conditions under
which the permit will be granted.

(a) The Board may establish mandatory continuing
education requirements for podiatrists licensed in this
State as a condition to their being registered in
accordance with this [section] SUBTITLE.
(b) This section does not apply to registrants who
pay their annual registration fee but do not practice in
Maryland during the year.
(c) Any individual applying for initial
registration under this [section] SUBTITLE shall be
exempted from this requirement, and the Board may, at its
discretion, register any licensee if the licensee proves
subsequent compliance with the provisions of this
section.

(a) The Board may reprimand any person or suspend,
revoke, or refuse to renew the license of any person whom
the Board finds:
(4) Has admitted, in writing or under oath,
acts or omissions in the course of an official
investigation by an authorized public official or public
body which would constitute a crime involving moral
turpitude or a violation of the State election laws,
whether or not the person is subsequently prosecuted[:];
