AN ACT concerning

Calvert County Treasurer - Technical Error Corrected

FOR the purpose of correcting a certain technical error
in the laws relating to the Calvert County
Treasurer.

BY repealing and re-enacting, with amendments,

Article 25 — County Commissioners

Section 51 (c) (1)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1973 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 51(c)(1) of Article 25 - County
Commissioners, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1973
Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

Article 25 — County Commissioners

51.

(c) (1) The county treasurer of Calvert County
shall receive an annual salary of $8,000 and an allowance
for clerical help incidental to his office of $3,000 per
year during the term OF office, the allowance for
clerical help to be paid out in semimonthly installments.
He shall appoint one deputy treasurer, who shall receive
an annual salary of $5,000; and he shall appoint one
clerk—stenographer, who shall receive such annual
compensation as may be set by the County Commissioners
from time to time.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.
