AN ACT concerning
Pesticide Registration and Labelling Law — Enforcement

FOR the purpose of providing the Secretary of Agriculture
with the right to enter certain [[public and
private]] commercial premises, under certain
conditions, in order to enforce the Maryland
Pesticide Registration and Labelling Act.

BY adding to

Article — Agriculture
Section 5-112(e)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1973 Volume)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 5-112(e) be and it is hereby
added to Article — Agriculture, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1973 Volume) to read as follows:

Article — Agriculture
5—112. Enforcement.

(E) THE SECRETARY MAY ENTER, DURING REGULAR
BUSINESS HOURS, ANY [[PUBLIC OR PRIVATE]] COMMERCIAL
PREMISES, INCLUDING ANY COMMERCIAL TRANSPORTATION
VEHICLE, WHERE ANY PESTICIDE IS SOLD, OFFERED FOR SALE,
STORED OR IS BEING TRANSPORTED, TO ENFORCE THE
PROVISIONS OF THIS SUBTITLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.
