SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 1-101(f) , 2-301(g) (1), 2-310(7),
3-405(b) , 4-101(g), 4-109(c), 4-201 (o) , 4-311, 7-402(b),
8-306(a)(13), 9-203(b), 9-207(a), 10-113(b), 10-404(c),
11-405(a), and 12-102 of Article - Agriculture, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume) be and they are
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
Article — Agriculture
1-101.
(f) "Person" includes the state, any county,
municipal corporation or other political subdivision of
the state, or any of [its] THEIR units, or an individual,
receiver, trustee, guardian, executor, administrator,
fiduciary, or representative of any kind, or any
partnership, firm, association, public or private
corporation, or any other entity, unless otherwise
provided.

(g)(1) Any licensed veterinarian from any state who
does not have an office in [this] THE state;
2-310.
(7) Is guilty of employing or permitting to
practice veterinary medicine any person who does not hold
a license or temporary permit to practice veterinary
medicine in [this] THE state;
3-405.
(b) The Secretary or his agent may enter any
location to conduct reasonable inspections in order to
enforce [this section] §3—404.
4-101.
(g) "Federal MEAT Inspection Act" means the act of
Congress approved March 4, 1907 (34 Stat. 1260), as
amended by the Wholesome Meat Act (81 Stat. 584).
