(6)  Eastern Shore area.

From time to time after June 1, 1967 the Board may
alter the six [years] AREAS initially created or may
create more or fewer areas than provided herein
initially.

The Board shall determine on the recommendation of
the Department, the counties or parts of counties which
will comprise each of the areas initially created herein
or hereafter created under the terms of this subsection.

The Department shall coordinate the programs of all
State agencies relating to air quality control or noise
abatement and each State agency shall consult with the
Department in prescribing any such standards or
regulations relating to air quality control or noise
abatement.

The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the
Department of Employment and [Fiscal] SOCIAL Services
shall jointly report to the 1975 General Assembly a
statement on the progress, effectiveness, and costs of
the implementation of the provisions of this subtitle.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.
