AN ACT concerning

Corrective Legislation - Licenses

FOR the purpose of correcting certain technical errors in
the laws relating to licenses.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,

Article 56 - Licenses

Section 130A, 225(d) and 273(2)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1972 Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 130A, 225(d) and 273(2) of

Article 56 — Licenses, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1972 Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) be and they

are hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to

read as follows:

Article 56 — Licenses
130A.

The Board shall make all necessary rules and
regulations for the proper performance of their duties
and rules and regulations for the filing of applications
for licenses and the qualifications of applicants. The
Board, with the approval of the secretary of Licensing
and Regulations, may appoint a qualified inspector to act
as its agent and make inspections throughout the State.
He shall be paid such salary as shall be provided in the
budget. The Board may designate officers of county
humane societies, societies for the prevention of cruelty
to animals, or licensed veterinarians to act as its agent
and to make routine inspections. They shall serve
without pay, but may be paid actual [expensed] EXPENSES
as elsewhere provided in this subtitle.

225.

(d) Whenever the Commission revokes or suspends
the license of any person, and no appeal to the proper
court has been filed within the time specified for such
appeals, the Commission shall notify all licensees by
mail or in [it's] ITS official publication of the
revocation or suspension.
