CHAPTER 162
(Senate Bill 720)
AN ACT concerning

Corrective Legislation — Alcoholic Beverages

FOR the purpose of correcting certain grammatical and
other technical errors in the laws relating to
alcoholic beverages.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

Section 20(c), 71A(a) and 99

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1968 Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE   GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

MARYLAND, That Sections 20 (c) , 71A(a) and 99 of Article

2B — Alcoholic Beverages, of the Annotated Code of

Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) be

and they are hereby repealed and re—enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages
20.

(c) In Anne Arundel County the annual license fee
therefor shall be four hundred dollars ($400.00).

(i) In Anne Arundel County such a license
shall be issued to any local unit of a nationwide bona
fide nonprofit organization or club composed solely of
members who served in the armed forces of the United
States in any war in which the United States has engaged,
having a charter from a national veterans' organization
prior to the time of making application for such a
license, having a bona fide membership of not less than
one hundred (100) persons and dues of not less than five
dollars ($5.00) per annum per person, which organization
or club operates solely for such members, and meets in a
clubhouse principally used for no other purpose; the fee
for such a license shall be four hundred dollars
($400.00) annually. Such a license shall be subject to
all other provisions of this article relating to beer,
wine and liquor licenses, Class C, in Anne Arundel
County.
