Corrective Legislation — Attorney General

FOP. the purpose of correcting a certain technical error
in the laws relating to the Attorney General of
Maryland.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments.

Article 32A — Department of Law

Section 12D

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1971 Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 12D of Article 32A - Department of
Law, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement
Volume and 1973 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed
and re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Article 32A — Department of Law
12D.

Any and all information obtained by the Attorney
General by virtue of the provisions of [§] SECTIONS 12A
and 12C through 12H, shall be considered confidential and
shall not be admissible as evidence in any legal action
or special proceeding, and no reference thereto may be
made in any trial or hearing.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.
