SUBDIVISIONS. ANY JOINT AGENCY PROVIDING AID SHALL BE
ENTITLED TO REIMBURSEMENT THEREFOR TO THE SAME EXTENT AND
IN THE SAME MANNER AS A STATE. THE PERSONNEL OF A JOINT
AGENCY, WHEN RENDERING AID PURSUANT TO THIS COMPACT,
SHALL HAVE THE SAME RIGHTS, AUTHORITY AND IMMUNITY AS
PERSONNEL OF PARTY STATES.
(D) NOTHING IN THIS ARTICLE SHALL BE CONSTRUED TO
EXCLUDE FROM THE COVERAGE OF ARTICLES I-XIV OF THIS
COMPACT ANY MATTER WHICH, IN THE ABSENCE OF THIS ARTICLE,
COULD REASONABLY BE CONSTRUED TO BE COVERED THEREBY.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

AN ACT concerning
Labeling of Electrical Extension Cords
[[and Similar Devices]]
FOR the purpose of requiring that all electrical
extension cords [[and similar devices]] used to
conduct electricity be labeled to reflect standards
of safe use, and generally relating to the labeling
of certain [[devices]] ELECTRICAL EXTENSION CORDS
used to conduct electricity.

Section 321 to be under the amended subheading
"Health — Electrical Extension Cords"
Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 321 to be under the amended
subheading "Health — Electrical Extension Cords" be and
it is hereby added to Article 27 — Crimes and
Punishments, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971
Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) to read as
follows:
