(d) Every trailer, semitrailer, and pole trailer
equipped with air or vacuum actuated brakes, and every
trailer, semitrailer, and pole trailer with a REGISTERED
gross weight in excess of 3,000 pounds, manufactured or
assembled after June 1, 1970, shall be equipped with
brakes acting on all wheels and of a character to be
applied automatically and promptly, and remain applied
for at least fifteen minutes, upon breakaway from the
towing vehicle.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

AN ACT concerning
Elections — [[Certified]] Returns
FOR the purpose of requiring that the board of canvassers
prepare three [[duplicate]] originals of each of its
statements of votes cast at an election, and that
all entries thereon representing the number of votes
cast shall be either printed or typed; providing for
the [[certification and]] disposition of these
statements by [[the clerks of certain courts]]
certain persons; correcting certain language and
deleting certain superfluous provisions; and
relating generally to the preparation, certification
and disposition of statements or abstracts of votes
cast at an election.
BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,
