RESULTS OF SPECIFIC TESTS. THE TYPES OF TEST AND THE
INTERVALS BETWEEN THESE TESTS SHALL BE PRESCRIBED BY THE
LOCAL HEALTH OFFICER AND SHALL CONFORM TO STANDARDS OF
THE MARYLAND STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND MENTAL
HYGIENE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

Barbers — Employment of Journeymen

FOR the purpose of modifying limitations on the number of
journeymen barbers that may be employed by
barbershops.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 318C of Article 43 - Health, of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume
and 1973 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and
re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Article 43 - Health
318C.

A barbershop in this State may not employ at the
same time more than [one] TWO [journeyman] JOURNEYMEN
[barber] BARBERS for each qualified barber employed. Any
barber who desires to train journeymen must first qualify
as provided for teachers in barber schools under Section
318A of this subtitle.
