(30) Building Inspector
Graduation from a recognized high school and
four (4) years responsible experience in building
construction work; or any equivalent combination of
education and experience.
(30a) Building Plans Examiner I
Graduation from a recognized high school or
technical school, preferably supplemented by courses in
civil engineering or architecture; shall have at least
three (3) years experience in work involving the
preparation or revision of construction plans and
specifications and the planning of buildings, or any
equivalent combination of experience and training.
(30b) Building Plans Examiner II
Graduation from a recognized high school or
technical school, preferably supplemented by courses in
civil engineering or architecture. Shall have a minimum
five (5) years experience in work involving the
preparation or revision of construction plans and
specifications and the planning of buildings, two (2)
years of which were at the level of Building Plans
Examiner I; or any equivalent combination of experience
and training.
(31) Senior Building Inspector
Graduation from a recognized high school and
six (6) years responsible experience in building
construction work, two of which shall have been on the
level of Building Inspector; preferably two (2) years of
college or university study in structural engineering or
design; or any equivalent combination of education and
experience.
(32) Chief Building Inspector
Graduation from a recognized high school,
preferably two (2) years of college or university study
in structural engineering or design eight (8) years
responsible experience in building construction work on
the level of Senior Building Inspector; or any equivalent
combination education and experience.
(33) Plumbing Inspector
Graduation from a recognized high school; four
(4) years of experience as a journeyman plumber; or any
