(92)   Firefighter First Class

Graduation from a recognized high school or
General Equivalence Test with a minimum requirement of
eighteen (20) years of age. Must have successfully
completed, two (2) years of paid firefighter experience,
including one (1) year as a Howard County probationary
firefighter. Satisfactorily completed firefighting,
ambulance, and rescue training courses as prescribed by
the Fire Advisory Board. Special requirements:
possession of Maryland Class "B" driver's license.

(93)   Firefighter Technician/Sergeant

Graduation from recognized high school or
General Equivalence Test with a minimum requirement of
twenty—two (22) years of age. Must have successfully
completed four (4) years of paid firefighter service
experience, including one (1) year as a Howard County
probationary firefighter. Satisfactorily completed
firefighting, ambulance, and rescue training courses as
prescribed by the Fire Advisory Board. Special
requirement: possession of Maryland Class "B" driver's
license.

(94)  Firefighter Lieutenant

Graduation from recognized high school or
General Equivalence Test with a minimum requirement of
twenty—six (26) years of age. Must have successfully
completed. (8) years of paid firefighter service
experience, including one (1) year as a Howard County
probationary firefighter. Satisfactorily completed
firefighting, ambulance and rescue training as prescribed
by the Fire Advisory Board and have successfully
completed twelve (12) college semester hours in fire
technology course work. Special requirement: possession
of Maryland Class "B" driver's license.

(95)   Firefighter Captain

Graduation from recognized high school or
General Equivalence Test with a minimum requirement of
twenty—eight (28) years of age. Must have successfully
completed ten (10) years of paid firefighter service
experience of which two 2 years were served as a Howard
County Fire Service Lieutenant and must have successfully
completed thirty (30) semester hours in fire technology
course work. Special requirements: Possession of
Maryland Class "B" driver's license.

(96)   Custodian

Preferably some building cleaning experience
