Minimum three (3) years proven experience in
utility work; mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain
equipment used to perform assigned duties, must be
qualified to write plainly and clearly, have ability to
express oral instructions clearly.
(66c) Utilityman IV
Minimum five (5) years proven experience in
utility work; mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain
equipment used to perform assigned duties, thorough
knowledge of safety rules and regulations; must be able
to read, write and express instruction clearly.
(67) Crew Leader
Preferably graduation from a recognized high
school; and must have at least five (5) years experience
in road work or utility work; and preferably advanced
training in the use of tools and equipment related to
(duties may be substituted for up to two (2) years
experience as determined by supervisor) the job
assignment; or any equivalent combination of experience
and training.
