SALISBURY
(Wicomico County)

RESOLUTION HO. 165

A RESOLUTION of the Council of The City of Salisbury
proposing the annexation to the City of Salisbury of a
certain area of land situated contiguous to and binding
upon the Southwesterly corporate limits of the City of
Salisbury, popularly known as the Fairground Annexation,
and bounded on the Northeast by the existing corporate
limits of the City of Salisbury and bounded on the
Northwest in part by Wicomico Street and in part by
Pemberton Drive, and bounded on the Southwest by the
Southwesterly line of the property of W. Eugene Bounds
and bounded on the Southeast by the Southeasterly line of
the property of W. Eugene Bounds and in part by Marine
Road, and providing for conditions and circumstances
applicable to the proposed changes in boundary of the
City of Salisbury.

WHEREAS, The City of Salisbury has received consents
to annexation, signed by at least 25% of the persons who
reside in the area to be annexed and who are registered
voters and by the owners of at least 25% of the assessed
valuation of the real property located in the area sought
to be annexed, being contiguous to and binding upon the
Southwesterly corporate limits of The City of Salisbury
and called "Fairground Annexation", for identification,
and

WHEREAS, The City of Salisbury has caused to be made
a certification of the signatures on said consent to
annexation and has verified that the persons signing the
petition represent at least 25% of the persons who reside
in the area to be annexed and who are registered to vote
in the county elections for Wicomico County, in which
