38                                          LAWS OF MARYLAND                            [Ch. 11

EACH OF THE JUDGES OF THE COURT FOR WICOMICO COUNTY
SHALL RECEIVE $15 FOR EVERY DAY'S ATTENDANCE UPON THE
SESSIONS OF THE COURT. EACH JUDGE SHALL ALSO RECEIVE AN
ALLOWANCE OF $12 FOR MILEAGE FOR EVERY DAY'S ATTENDANCE
UPON THE SESSIONS OF THE COURT.

(X) WORCESTER COUNTY.

THE JUDGES OF THE COURT FOR WORCESTER COUNTY SHALL
RECEIVE THE SUM OF $8 FOR EVERY DAY'S ATTENDANCE UPON THE
SESSIONS OF THE COURT. THE JUDGES SHALL ALSO RECEIVE AN
ALLOWANCE FOR TRAVELING EXPENSES OF $1,600 ANNUALLY.

2-109. RESTRICTION ON JUDGE'S PRACTICE OF LAW.

EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN ARTICLE 10, §30 OF THE CODE, A
JUDGE OF THE COURT SHALL NOT ACT AS ATTORNEY OR SOLICITOR
IN A LAW, EQUITY, OR CRIMINAL COURT DURING HIS TERM OF
OFFICE. THIS SECTION DOES NOT APPLY IN HARFORD OR
MONTGOMERY COUNTIES.

SUBTITLE 2. REGISTER OF WILLS.
2-201. DEFINITION OF REGISTER.

(A) GENERAL.

REGISTER MEANS THE REGISTER OF WILLS OF A COUNTY.

(E) EXCEPTION.

WHEN AN ESTATE IS BEING ADMINISTERED IN EQUITY,
REGISTER MEANS THE CLERK OF THE COURT.

2-202. FULL-TIME POSITION.

EACH REGISTER SHALL DEVOTE HIS FULL WORKING TIME TO

DURING THE TERM OF HIS OFFICE.
