MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

lines to the area to be annexed shall be at the expense
of the property—owners in the annexed area and at no cost
to the City; design of all storm—drain, water and sewer
systems shall be such that any damage from their
installation shall be the responsibility of the
property-owner and not of the City of Frederick; that The
City of Frederick shall not be required to provide
sewerage service to any portion of the land to be annexed
which does not drain by gravity into the City sewerage
system.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, ENACTED AND ORDAINED BY
THE AUTHORITY AFORESAID, that the Mayor of the City of
Frederick shall give notice of this Resolution by posting
an exact copy of the same at City Hall and by providing
for the publication of an appropriate notice in a
newspaper of general circulation in the City of
Frederick, not fewer than at least four times and not
less than weekly intervals after the adoption of this
Resolution.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, ENACTED AND ORDAINED BY
THE AUTHORITY AFORESAID, that the Mayor of the City of
Frederick shall call a public meeting on the passage of
this Resolution at a hearing to be held at 7:30 P.M. on
the 6th day of September, 1973, in the Public Meeting
Room in the City Hall Building located on North Market
Street in the City of Frederick.

Resolution of the Mayor and Council of
Friendsville to Amend the Town Charter.

Resolution of the Mayor and Council of Friendsville
adopted pursuant to the authority of Article 11-E of the
Constitution of Maryland and Section 13 of Article 23-A
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title,
"Corporations—Municipal", to amend Sections 12, 23B, 28,
33 and 55 of the charter of the said Town of
Friendsville, Maryland, applicable only to said Town, to
limit publishing time, change age required to vote,
provide more registration days, alter voting time and
increase interest rates.
