D. MISCELLANEOUS POWERS AND DUTIES. THE BURGESS
SHALL HAVE SUCH OTHER DUTIES AND POWERS AS ARE GIVEN TO
HIM BY OTHER ARTICLES OF THIS CHARTER AND BY ORDINANCES
PASSED PURSUANT TO THIS CHARTER BY THE BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS, SUCH AS, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE FINANCIAL
SUPERVISION OF THE TOWN AND PREPARATION OF THE BUDGET.
FEDERALSBURG
(Caroline County)
Resolution of the Mayor and Council of Federalsburg
to add to the corporate boundaries of said municipal
corporation, subject to the provisions of the charter of
said municipal corporation, twenty—five per centum (25%)
of the persons who reside in the area to be annexed and
who are registered as voters in county elections and
twenty—five per centum (25%) of the owners of the
assessed valuation of real property located in the area
having consented thereto, by repealing Ordinance No. 64
of the Ordinances of said town passed on December 3,
1956, entitled "An Ordinance Designating The Boundaries
Of The Town Of Federalsburg And Repealing All Ordinances
Inconsistent Therewith"; repealing Ordinance No. 73 of
the Ordinances of said town passed on May 5, 1958,
entitled "An Ordinance Of The Mayor And Council Of
Federalsburg Adding Certain Additional Land To The
Corporate Limits Of The Town Of Federalsburg"; and
repealing Ordinance No. 94 of the Ordinances of said town
passed on August 1, 1966, entitled "An Ordinance Of The
Mayor And Council of Federalsburg Adding Certain
Additional Land To The Corporate Limits Of The Town Of
Federalsburg" and enacting a new ordinance delineating
the corporate limits of said town so that there shall be
included within the corporate limits of said town 146.713
acres located to the southeast of the present corporate
limits of said town lying to the southeast of the
Federalsburg Bypass and generally lying between Reliance
Road and the Penn—Central Railroad Company tracks and
bounded on the southwest and the southeast by privately
owned lands, which embraces the Federalsburg Industrial
Park only and no other land.
SECTION 1. BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL
OF FEDERALSBURG that the following Ordinance be adopted:
