DENTON

SECTION 1. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSIONERS OF
DENTON, That the corporate boundaries of the Town of
Denton be enlarged by annexation into the Town of Denton,
the following two (2) tracts of land and premises which
are contiguous to and adjoining to the existing corporate
areas of said Town, and described as hereinafter set
forth; consent to the said resolution having been
heretofore filed with the Commissioners of Denton by more
than twenty—five percentum of the persons who reside in
each of the areas to be annexed, and who are registered
as voters in the County Elections, and from owners of not
less than twenty—five percentum of the assessed valuation
of the real estate located in the areas to be annexed;
said lands being particularly described as follows:

Tract No. 1. Beginning for the same at a concrete
monument at the southeast corner of the intersection of
Maryland Highway No. 404 and Kerr Avenue, said monument
being at the most westerly corner of the hereinafter
described land and being at the end of the 5th course of
the description of the land annexed by the Town of Denton
in 1967, and from said place of beginning running (1) by
and with the south side of the said Kerr Avenue and the
Town of Denton, North 75 degrees 52 minutes East 790
feet; thence by and with the land of the Commissioners of
Caroline County the following two courses and distances;
(2) South 14 degrees 30 minutes East 130 feet to a
concrete monument; thence (3) South 75 degrees 52 minutes
West 360 feet to a concrete monument and the land of
Ralph W. Paul; thence with the said Paul land the
following two courses and distances; (4) South 14 degrees
30 minutes East 320 feet to the North side of South
Avenue; thence (5) by and with the North side of the said
South Avenue, South 75 degrees 52 minutes West 240 feet
thence (6) North 14 degrees 30 minutes West 350 feet to a
concrete monument and the most Easterly corner of the
land of Edward R. Henry; thence (7) by and with the
Southerly side of the said Henry land South 75 degrees 52
minutes West 190 feet to a concrete monument and the East
side of the aforementioned Maryland Highway No. 404;
thence (8) by and with the Easterly side of the said
Highway, North 14 degrees 30 minutes West 100 feet to the
Place of Beginning, containing 3.990 Acres of Land, more
or less.

Tract No. 2. Beginning for the same at the point of

intersection of the northwesternmost right of way line of

'Maryland Route 313 and the centerline of an existing

stream. Said stream also being the present town boundary

of the town of Denton:

Thence, leaving said point of beginning and binding
on the aforementioned Maryland Route 313 right of way
line, North 41 degrees 28 minutes 50 seconds East 78 feet
