BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF COLLEGE PARK, MARYLAND, that the aforegoing
proposed amendment shall be posted at the Municipal
Building, 4500 Knox Road, College Park, Maryland, for a
period of at least forty days following its adoption and
shall further be published in the Prince George's Post
once in each of four successive weeks before the 4th day
of November, 1973.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF COLLEGE PARK, MARYLAND, that the proposed
amendment will come and be considered part of the
municipal charter of the City of College Park on the 14th
day of November, 1973, unless a petition is filed
pursuant to Article 23A, Section 13 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland, 1957 Edition, as amended, said petition to
be filed on or before the 4th day of November, 1973.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF COLLEGE PARK that the foregoing Resolution be
and the same is hereby adopted this 25th day of
September, 1973.

CHARTER AMENDMENT
RESOLUTION NO. 58
RESOLUTION of the Mayor and City Council of
Cumberland, Maryland, adopted in pursuance of the
authority contained in Article 11—E of the Constitution
of the State of Maryland, and Section 13 of Article 23A
of the Annotated Code of Maryland, entitled "Municipal
Corporations", as said Section was enacted by Chapter 423
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1955,
entitled "A Resolution to Amend the Charter of the City
of Cumberland, Maryland (1966 Edition), by repealing and
reenacting, with amendments, subsection (e) of Section 36
of said Charter."
SECTION 1. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF CUMBERLAND, MARYLAND, That subsection (e) of
Section 36 of the Charter of the City of Cumberland (1966
Edition) , as amended by Charter Amendment Resolution No.
56, passed June 20, 1972, be and is hereby repealed and
