point; thence running along the southerly line of
said last mentioned subdivision and continuing the
same course along the southerly line of the
aforesaid subdivision recorded in Plat Book WWW 21
at Plat No. 33,
(4) North 85° 41' 50" West 760.63 feet to a
point; thence running along the westerly line of the
aforesaid 22 foot wide widening strip for 63rd
Avenue, the following two (2) courses and distances.
(5) North 04° 27' 10" West 122.82 feet to a
point; and thence
(6) North 2 1° 32' 40" West 150.24 feet to
the point of beginning; containing 239,281 square
feet or 5.4931 acres.
Provided that this resolution shall become effective
forty—five days following a public hearing on the
resolution to be held March 9, 1972 unless the Mayor and
Town Council shall receive within the forty—five day
period a petition for a referendum pursuant to the
provisions of Section 19—f or 19—g of Article 23—A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland. In the event of a
referendum, this resolution will be effective the
fourteenth day following same if a majority of the
persons voting on the question vote in favor thereof.

ORDINANCE NO. 13-73
AN ORDINANCE to amend Article V, "Elections" of the
Charter and Local Laws of the Town of Cheverly, Maryland,
by amending Section c—18 "Election Procedures" to provide
for absentee ballots.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF
CHEVERLY, MARYLAND, that Section C-18A of Article V,
"Elections" of the Charter and Local Laws of the Town of
Cheverly, Maryland, be amended by inserting between the
first and section sentence the following sentence:
Any qualified voter registered to vote in the Town
is entitled to vote in the Town election by absentee
