MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

leaving the Cemetery and running South twenty two
degrees East six hundred forty three feet; thence
South thirty seven degrees East one Thousand sixty
three feet; thence North fifty three degrees thirty
minutes East Six hundred ten feet to the place of
beginning;

SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this
resolution shall become effective at the end of forty
five days following its final enactment, unless a proper
petition for referendum hereon shall be filed, as
permitted by law.

Resolution of the Council of the Mayor and Council of
Boonsboro to enlarge the corporate boundaries and thereby
amend section 3—3 (corporate limits) of the Charter of
the Mayor and Council of Boonsboro

RESOLUTION of the Council of the Mayor and Council
of Boonsboro, adopted pursuant to the authority of
Article 11-E of the Constitution of Maryland and Section
19 of Article 23-A of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
1957 Edition, title "Corporation, Municipal", sub—title
"Home Rule", sub—heading "Annexation", as said section
was amended by Chapter 314 of the Laws of Maryland of
1961, to enlarge the corporate boundaries of the Mayor
and Council of Boonsboro as defined in Section 3—3 of the
Charter of the Mayor and Council of Boonsboro as it
appears in the Code of Public Local Laws of Washington
County of 1970 and as amended by Amendment Number 6 to
said Charter, by adding or annexing to said corporate
boundaries the following area adjoining the present
corporate boundary, to—wit:

BEGINNING at the end of the South 68° West
17 19.31 foot line of the present corporate boundary
of Boonsboro and in the Eastern boundary of the
lands now or formerly owned by G. Merlin Snyder, and
running thence so as to include said lands North 22°
20' West 631.88 feet to a post, thence South 70° 30'
West 690.37 feet to a post, thence South 70° 19'
West 723.9 feet to a point, thence South 19° 13'
West 691.82 feet to a Walnut Tree, thence South 0°
07' East 863.42 feet to the North marginal line of
Maryland Route No. 34 as relocated, thence crossing
the said highway South 26° 53' 06" East 150.15 feet
to the South marginal line of the right of way for
said highway, thence along said marginal line South
61° 06' 59" West 50.41 feet to a point, thence South
