Senate Bill 292, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on April 9, 1974, accomplishes
the same purpose as House Bill 563.
Therefore, it is unnecessary for me to sign House
Bill 563.

House Bill No. 564 — Baltimore City — City Hall Bonds
AN ACT concerning
Baltimore City — City Hall Bond Issue
FOR the purpose of authorizing the Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore to create a debt, and to issue and sell
its certificates of indebtedness as evidence
thereof, to an amount not exceeding [[Six]] Eight
Million Dollars [[($6,000,000.00)]] ($8,000,000.00),
the proceeds derived from the sale of the
certificates of indebtedness to be used for
improving, modernizing or reconstructing the City
Hall of Baltimore City, including, but not limited
to the performance of any and all work or services,
and the furnishing and installation of any and all
materials and equipment that may be necessary or
proper in connection therewith or resulting
therefrom, and for doing any and all things
necessary, proper or expedient in connection
therewith or pertaining to any or all of the matters
or things hereinbefore mentioned; said structure
being used for the general governmental purposes of
the municipality; authorizing said municipality to
submit an ordinance or ordinances for said purpose
to the legal voters of Baltimore City, and providing
generally for the issuance and sale of said
certificates of indebtedness.
