14 of Article 62 - Marriages, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1972 Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) be
and it is hereby repealed and re—enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
Article 62 — Marriages
14.
when one or both parties are residents of the State
of Maryland, the clerk of the court shall receive two
dollars for every license issued as aforesaid and for the
performance of the other duties required by this article;
where both parties are nonresidents of the State of
Maryland, the said cleric shall receive three dollars for
every license so issued. In Allegany, Baltimore,
Caroline, Cecil, Dorchester, Garrett, Harford, Howard,
Montgomery and Washington counties, and in Baltimore
City, said clerics shall be paid an additional two dollars
for every license and shall remit monthly the proceeds of
said additional fee to the county treasurer of their
respective counties at the end of every month for use as
general funds of said county; except that the clerk of
the Court of Common Pleas of Baltimore City shall remit
and shall include the proceeds of the additional fee in
his annual return to the State Comptroller of all his
fees, emoluments and receipts under the provisions of [§
25 of Article 17 of this Code] §2-205 OF THE COURTS
ARTICLE OF THE CODE.
SECTION 14. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That
Sections 14-115, 16-207, 16-209 of Article 66 1/2 -
Vehicle Laws, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970
Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) be and they are
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows;

14-115.
In all complaints of the violation of any of the
provisions of the law relating to vehicle weights, the
District Court judge before whom the alleged offender is
taken shall have jurisdiction to hear and determine such
complaint and impose the fine herein prescribed, but if
either party feels aggrieved by his judgment there shall
be a right of appeal in accordance with [Article 26, §
156] §§ 12-401 AND 12-403 OF THE COURTS ARTICLE OF THE
CODE.
