having [four] 4 feet or any part, egg, offspring, or dead
body of any of them.

(c) In the waters of the Chesapeake Bay opposite
the shoreline of Anne Arundel and Calvert counties and
Prospect Bay in Queen Anne's County, a person may not
erect or maintain a stationary blind or blind site at a
greater distance than 1,000 yards from the shoreline of
the counties or in water over [eight] 8 feet in depth.
10-705.
The holder of a special dog training area permit
shall plainly and conspicuously post the boundary line of
any special dog training area prior to September 1 with
legible notices at least [ten] 10 inches by 12 inches in
size placed not more than 100 yards apart which shall
bear the following warning:
SPECIAL DOG TRAINING AREA
HUNTING IS UNLAWFUL
This Land Is Set Aside under Special Permit for the
Training of Dogs.
Entering for the Purpose of Hunting or Disturbing Game or
permitting Dogs to Enter without Proper Authorization Is
punishable by a Penalty of Twenty—five Dollars
($25.00) For each offense.

(b) Within ten days of receipt of notice of the
approval by the Department of any licensed feeding zones,
each zone shall be marked with a sign not less than 12 by
18 inches with printing no smaller than 12 lines ([two] 2
inches high) gothic type, stating "Waterfowl Feeding
Zone—Shooting Within 400 Yards Prohibited". The sign
shall be visible above any vegetation or other
obstruction. Prior to the opening of the wild waterfowl
hunting season, each licensed shooting blind or stand
also shall be posted with a similar sign, stating
"Licensed Shooting Area For This Property".
SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.
