AN ACT concerning

Register of Wills — Fees

FOR the purpose of providing an increase in certain fees
charged by the Registers of Wills for the
performance of their duties, and eliminating a
certain fee.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments.

Article — Estates and Trusts

Sections 2-206 (b), (d), (e), (h), (k), (1), (m),

(n), (o) and (g)
Annotated Code of Maryland

(As enacted by Chapter 11 (S.B. 133) of the
1974 Regular Session of the General Assembly)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 2-206(b), (d), (e), (h), (k),
(1), (m) , (n), (o) and (q) of Article — Estates and
Trusts, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (As enacted by
Chapter 11 (S.B. 133) of the 1974 Regular Session of
the General Assembly) be and they are hereby repealed and
re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Article — Estates and Trusts
2-206.

(b) For taking probate of wills, entering the
names, necessary oaths including and granting letters
testamentary, taking, filing, and recording bond, issuing
warrant to appraisers and administering the necessary
oaths to the person or persons to whom letters may be
granted, including seals to letters and warrants to
appraise....................................$[7.50] 10.00

(d) For filing an election of a surviving spouse
to take an intestate share and for filing renunciations
of heirs or legatees, personal representatives.
