Section 10-103

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1970 Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 10-103 of Article 66 1/2 - Vehicle
Laws, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement
Volume and 1973 Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed
and re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Article 66 1/2 - Vehicle Laws
10-103.

The driver of any vehicle involved in an accident
resulting only in damage to a vehicle or other property
which is driven or attended by any person shall
immediately stop the vehicle at the scene of the accident
or as close thereto as possible, but shall forthwith
return to and in every event shall remain at the scene of
the accident until he has fulfilled the requirements of §
10—104. Every stop shall be made without obstructing
traffic more than is necessary. THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
SECTION ALSO APPLY TO THOSE AREAS AND THOSE SUBDIVISIONS
SPECIFIED BY SECTION 11-101(3). Any person failing to
stop or comply with these requirements under these
circumstances shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.
