AN ACT concerning

Baltimore County - Office of State's Attorney

FOP the purpose of increasing the salaries of the State's
Attorney and deputy State's attorneys for Baltimore
County, subject to certain constitutional
restrictions, requiring their full-time employment
and prohibiting their engaging in the private
practice of law[[, with certain exceptions for
part—time deputy State's attorneys; increasing the
number and salaries of assistant State's attorneys
for Baltimore County; and providing that
administrative and clerical employees in the Office
of State's Attorney shall be under the Merit System
of Baltimore County.]] and specifying the number,

salaries,__and duties of certain assistant State's

attorneys for Baltimore County.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments.

and it is hereby repealed and re—enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
