the State or is removed as provided in Section 2—302 of
the Agriculture Article of the Annotated Code of
Maryland. Vacancies on that Board occurring after June
30, 1974, shall be filled as provided in that Section
2-302.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

AN ACT concerning

Public Education — Basic Current Expenses
and Declaration of Estimated Income Tax

FOR the purpose of increasing the expenditure for basic
current expenses in which the State shall share for
public education ,changing the date on or before
which an amended declaration of estimated income tax
is required to be filed and one—fourth of the
estimated tax due is required to be paid, providing
for an appropriation for the 1974 — 1975 fiscal year
of the funds necessary for the increase in State
share for basic current expense, and relating

generally to increasing the State share for basic

current expenses of education through advancement of
payment of a portion of estimated income tax.
