public health may, in its judgment, require.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 387C(a), 387C(b) 2, 3, and 4,
387C(c) 1, (viii) and 387C(d)2 of Article 43 - Health, of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971 Replacement Volume
and 1973 Supplement) be and they are hereby repealed and
re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Article 43 - Health
387C.

(a) Definitions. —As used in this subsection:

1. "County plan" means a comprehensive plan and
all amendments and revisions thereof for the provision of
adequate water supply systems and sewerage and solid
waste disposal systems and solid waste acceptance
facilities throughout the county [to include all towns.
