(2) Graduation from a surveying or engineering
curriculum of four scholastic years or more or their
equivalent other than the ones approved by the Board and
a specific record of four years or more of additional
experience in surveying work of a character satisfactory
to the Board, and the successful completion of [a] AN
EIGHT—HOUR written examination in the fundamentals of
surveying.

[(e) As a land surveyor trainee:

Within one year of June 1, 1967, any person who has
had three or more years of experience as a trainee in
land surveying work satisfactory to the Board may file
with the Board a letter of intent to become registered as
a land surveyor. Any such person who files such a
letter of intent shall be eligible for registration as a
land surveyor at such time as he satisfies the following
two requirements:

(1)   Acquires a specific record of six years1
experience in land surveying work of a character
satisfactory to the Board indicating that he may be
competent to practice land surveying and presents
evidence of such experience satisfactory to the Board;

(2)  Successfully completes an eight—hour written
examination in the fundamentals of surveying and an
eight—hour examination in the principles and practice of
land surveying.

The provisions of this subsection (e) shall expire
six (6) years after June 1, 1967.]

[(f)] (E) As a property line surveyor:

Any person may be registered as a property line
surveyor upon completion of the following two
requirements:

(1)  Acquires a specific record of [8 (eight) ] EIGHT
years experience in property line surveying of a
character satisfactory to the Board indicating he may be
competent to practice property line surveying and
presents evidence of such experience satisfactory to the
Board[[; and not less than 30 [(thirty)] years of age]].

(2)   Successfully completes a written or oral
examination in the fundamentals of property line
surveying and the principles and practice of property
line surveying.

[(g)] (F) A person holding a certificate of
registration to engage in the practice of engineering or
