FOLLOWING THE DATE ON WHICH CERTIFICATION OF REQUIRED
MEMBERSHIP ENROLLMENT IS MADE. In all elections held
hereunder, the employee organization receiving the
largest number of votes cast in a unit shall be declared
to be the exclusive representative of all public school
employees in such unit provided, however, that if the
largest number of votes in said election is cast for no
exclusive representation, then there shall be no
representative designated for such unit. The public
school employer shall provide such assistance as may be
required in conducting said elections.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect June 1, 1974.

MARYLAND, That new Section 9(13) be and it is hereby
added to Article 73B — Pensions, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) to
read as follows:
