SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED BY THE GENERAL
ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, That a new Article of the Annotated
Code of Maryland designated "Estates and Trusts" be and
it is hereby enacted, to read as follows:

TITLE 1- ESTATES OF DECEDENTS - GENERAL PROVISIONS.

SUBTITLE 1. DEFINITIONS AND USE OF TERMS; PURPOSES OF
TITLES 1-12.

1-101. DEFINITIONS.

(A) IN THE ESTATES OF DECEDENTS LAW THE FOLLOWING
WORDS HAVE THE MEANINGS INDICATED.

(E)       "ADMINISTRATIVE PROBATE" IS DEFINED IN § 5-301.

(C)       "CHILD" IS DEFINED IN §§ 1-205 THROUGH 1-208.

(C)       "COUNTY" INCLUDES BALTIMORE CITY.

(E)   "COURT" IS DEFINED IN § 2-101.

(F)   "HEIR" IS A PERSON ENTITLED TO PROPERTY OF AN
