STATISTICAL AREA, THE PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM SHALL HAVE
THE OPTION TO REMAIN IN THE REGION OR PARTICIPATE IN THE
METROPOLITAN COOPERATIVE SERVICES PROGRAM. The criteria
for a regional resource center include the following:

(i) A region should comprise three or more counties
and have a population of at least 100,000 persons and
preferably 200,000.

(ii) Whenever possible the strongest existing
library in the area should be selected as the regional
resource center.

(iii) The regional resource center should be so
located as to be of greatest service to all points in the
region.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

Prince George's County — Off—Sale Stores' Sales

FOR the purpose of changing the hours when off—sale
stores operating under a certain license may sell
beer, wine and liquor, clarifying the status of
certain separate off—sale stores, clarifying the
language, and generally relating to the sale of
beer, wine, and liquor by certain off—sale stores.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments.
