Carroll County Code of Public Local Lavs
FOR the purpose of correcting obsolete, obscure, and
erroneous language in the Carroll County Code of
Public Local Laws and particularly making that Code
conform to the systems of courts presently existing
in the State, and clarifying the language.
BY repealing and re-enacting, with amendments.

Preamble
WHEREAS, As an integral part of its responsibility.
Governor Handel in 1970 charged the Governor's Commission
to Revise the Annotated Code to study and make
recommendations concerning related problems in the public
local laws which may be perceived during the course of
Code Commission Activities. In conjunction with the
in—depth research on the Courts Article, related material
in the public local laws of Carroll County was discovered
which is in conflict with current provisions of the law
and in adopted style.
Alterations also are being made to bring these
sections into conformity with Article 27 (Crimes and
Punishments) , Section 643 of the Annotated Code.
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 33(a) and (e) of the Public Local
Laws of Carroll County being Article 7 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1965 Edition), be and they
are hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
