(5) PERFORMING ACUPUNCTURE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new
Section 121 (14) be and it is hereby added to Article 43 —
Health, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971
Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) to read as
follows:

121.

(14) DEVELOP RULES AND REGULATIONS TO DIRECT AND
CONTROL THE PRACTICE OF ACUPUNCTURE, BUT NOT TO PROHIBIT
THE PERFORMANCE OF ACUPUNCTURE BY AN UNLICENSED
INDIVIDUAL UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF A LICENSED PHYSICIAN.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

AN ACT concerning

Queen Anne's County — County Commissioners,
Administrative Assistant

FOR the purpose of providing that the compensation of the
Queen Anne's County Commissioners shall be as set
forth in Article 18 of the Public Local Laws of
Maryland; providing an annual salary for the County
Commissioners and for the reimbursement of their
expenses on the presentation of vouchers; and
providing for an administrative assistant to the
County Commissioners to serve at their pleasure and
perform the duties delegated to him; and providing
for the compensation they set, an oath of office,
and the posting of a bond.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments.
