SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 36(10) of Article 101 - Workmen's
Compensation, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964
Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

Article 101 — Workmen's Compensation
36.

(10) (a) Any employee who is permanently and
totally disabled as the result of any injury suffered
prior to July 1, 1973, and July 1, 1965, and who is
receiving benefits as a result of the injury on July 1,
1973, for permanent and total disability shall be
entitled to a supplemental allowance of compensation as
calculated under [subsection] PARAGRAPH (b) provided that
the supplemental allowance received when added to the
present compensation received shall not exceed the
