Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 104 of Article 2B - alcoholic
Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968
Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages
104.

In St. Mary's County, notwithstanding any other
provision of this article, the hours during which a
liquor licensee may sell those alcoholic beverages for
which he is licensed shall be from 6 o'clock a.m. to 2
o'clock a.m. the following morning, including Sunday.
[Consumption of alcoholic beverages may continue on the
premises of the establishment for one—half hour following
the termination of the hours of sale only on Sunday.] HO
CONSUMER MAY REMAIN ON THE PREMISES OF THE ESTABLISHMENT
AFTER THE TERMINATION OF THE HOURS OF SALE, EXCEPT THAT
CUSTOMERS MAY REMAIN ON THE PREMISES FOR ONE-HALF HOUR
AFTER THE CLOSING TIME ON SUNDAY HORNING.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.
