SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new
Section 1-104(a)(7) be and it is hereby added to Article
— Natural Resources, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1974 Volume) to read as follows:

Article - Natural Resources
1-104.

(a) (7) PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO OTHER
STATE UNITS, COUNTIES, MUNICIPALITIES, CORPORATIONS,
ORGANIZATIONS, GROUPS, AND INDIVIDUALS IN PLANNING,
ORGANIZING, AND CONDUCTING LEISURE ACTIVITIES AND
RECREATION PROGRAMS.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, [[1974]] 1975.

AN ACT concerning

Allegany County Board of Education

FOR the purpose of reconstituting the County Board of
Education for Allegany County; making the Board an
elective board; providing for the election, tenure,
duties, salary and operations of the Board; making
the chairman of the Board of County Commissioners a
member ex officio; and submitting this Act to a
referendum of the qualified voters of Allegany
County.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments.
