MORE THAN $1,000 OR IMPRISONMENT FOR NOT MORE THAN ONE
YEAR, OR BOTH.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

AN ACT concerning

Abandoned Vehicles — Scrap Processors

FOR the purpose of protecting certain scrap processors
who destroy certain abandoned motor vehicles by
authorizing them to file an indemnity agreement with
the Motor Vehicle Administration and relating
generally to disposition of abandoned motor
vehicles.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 11-1002.2(f)(5) of Article 66 1/2
— Vehicle Laws, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970
Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
