SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 15B(e) of the Public Local Laws of
Worcester County being Article 24 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1961 Edition and 1972 Supplement)
be and it is hereby repealed and re—enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
Article 24
15B.
(e) If on the basis of the application and the
hearing the Commissioners determine that the proposed
work or construction will be of economic or commercial
benefit to the county, will not harm the shoreline or
navigation in the waters of the county, will not cause
undue damage to the marine life of the county, or will
improve the recreational facilities and potential of the
county, they shall approve the application and issue a
permit for the work or construction. [Provided, however,
any person association or corporation being issued such a
permit shall within 90 days from the date thereof, have
recorded among the land records of Worcester County a
plat certified by a licensed surveyor, or a licensed
engineer, showing in detail, the work or construction done
or to be done as a result of said permit being granted.]
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.

AN ACT concerning
Anne Arundel County — Grants in Lieu of Tax Credits
FOR the purpose of authorizing the County Council of Anne
Arundel County to provide for a system of grants in
lieu of county tax credits to certain tenants who
fall within certain income limits as specified by
the Council, on the basis of age or disability
subject to further qualifications as may be
established; requiring county funding of the grants;
