(1) BODILY INJURY AND PROPERTY DAMAGE TO
OTHERS, AND TO THE FOSTER PARENTS, CAUSED BY THE FOSTER
CHILD; AND
(2) ACTIONS AGAINST THE FOSTER PARENTS BY
THE NATURAL PARENTS FOR ANY ACCIDENT TO THE FOSTER CHILD.
THE DEPARTMENT OF JUVENILE SERVICES SHALL ESTABLISH A
REASONABLE DEDUCTIBLE LIMIT.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That new
Section 32B be and it is hereby added to Article 88A —
Social Services Administration, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) to
read as follows:

32B.
THE SOCIAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION SHALL PROVIDE
LIABILITY INSURANCE FOR FOSTER PARENTS IN BOARDING CARE
FOR CHILDREN PROGRAMS. THE LIABILITY INSURANCE SHALL
PROVIDE COVERAGE FOR: (1) BODILY INJURY AND PROPERTY
DAMAGE TO OTHERS, AND TO THE FOSTER PARENTS CAUSED BY THE
FOSTER CHILD; AND (2) ACTIONS AGAINST THE FOSTER PARENTS
BY THE NATURAL PARENTS FOR ANY ACCIDENT TO THE FOSTER
CHILD. THE SOCIAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION SHALL
ESTABLISH A REASONABLE DEDUCTIBLE LIMIT.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1974.
