AN ACT concerning

Prince George's County — Property Tax
Assessment Appeals Board

FOR the purpose of providing that in Prince George's
County a member of the Board shall remain in office
until a new member is appointed, and that submission
of proposed new members to the Board shall be done
three months before the term begins.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments.

(1969 Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 248(b) of Article 81 - Revenue and
Taxes, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969
Replacement Volume and 1973 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

Article 81 — Revenue and Taxes
248.

(b) Each member shall be appointed for a term of
three years so arranged that the term of office of one
member shall expire on June 1 of each year, except that
initially one member of each new property tax assessment
appeal board hereby created shall be appointed to a term
which expires June 1, 1974, and one member shall be
